The iconic 2024 Ford Mustang is hitting dealership floors, and car enthusiasts are eager to get their hands on this legendary ride. Today, we’re breaking down the options available for the perfect build and spec of a 2024 Ford Mustang. Follow along as we customize our ideal Mustang and share the steps so you can do the same.

Starting with the Trim

Ford offers several trims for the 2024 Mustang, including the base EcoBoost, EcoBoost Premium, GT, GT Premium, Mach 1, and Shelby GT500. For our build, we’re looking for a great balance between performance and comfort. The GT Premium trim level offers a potent V8 engine with luxurious features suitable for daily driving.

Exterior Color

The 2024 Ford Mustang is available in various eye-catching colors: Atlas Blue, Carbonized Gray, Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Shadow Black, Star White Metallic Tri-Coat, Twister Orange Tri-Coat, and Velocity Blue. We’re opting for the Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat to make our Mustang stand out from the crowd.

Powertrain

The GT Premium trim comes standard with a powerful 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 engine producing 450 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. We’ll pair that with the smooth-shifting 10-speed SelectShift® automatic transmission for acceleration that will leave every competitor in the dust.

Wheels

To complement our Mustang’s aggressive look, we’ll choose the 19-inch machined-face aluminum wheels with low-gloss black-painted pockets. These wheels provide a perfect blend of style and performance for our dream pony car.

Interior

Inside our GT Premium Mustang, we’ll opt for leather trimmed seats in Showstopper Red to contrast with the red exterior paint. The striking combination will provide an elegant yet sporty driving experience.

Technology Package

The Ford Safe and Smart™ Package is a must-have in our build. This package includes features like adaptive cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, pre-collision assist, lane-keeping system, and automatic high-beam headlights. These tech features make the Mustang an excellent choice for those seeking both thrills and convenience on the road.

Performance

Lastly, there’s no such thing as too much performance. That’s why we’ll opt for the MagneRide® Damping System as an additional upgrade. This advanced suspension system adapts to varying road and driving conditions in real-time, delivering a superior driving experience.

Our ideal Mustang looks stunning in Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat paint with Showstopper Red leather seats, riding on stylish wheels and powered by a roaring V8 engine. With the perfect combination of performance upgrades and luxury features, this is how we’d custom-spec our 2024 Ford Mustang GT Premium.
