The 2024 Ford Explorer has been spotted on the road, giving us our first look at the vehicle’s Platinum and ST trims without any camouflage. The updated SUV, featuring exterior design changes and performance enhancements, looks poised to continue its stellar reputation as a family favorite.

The most apparent change with the 2024 Ford Explorer is the revamped front fascia. Both the Platinum and ST trims now sport an all-new grille design, giving them a bolder, more assertive look. The headlights have also been redesigned for a sleeker appearance, while new fog lamps provide greater visibility in inclement weather. These changes not only add to the vehicle’s curb appeal but also improve its aerodynamics for better fuel efficiency.

On the sides of the vehicle, there are new wheel designs that help distinguish the Platinum and ST trims from their predecessors. These updated wheels give the SUV a more aggressive stance, accentuating its versatile character. On the vehicle’s rear end, subtle changes have been implemented: a refreshed taillight design adds to its modern aesthetic, while an updated rear bumper enhances its athletic profile.

One particularly noteworthy aspect of the spied 2024 Ford Explorer is the addition of dual exhaust tips on both trims. This suggests that there could be some updates under the hood as well. While engine specifications have not been revealed yet, we can expect Ford to offer performance upgrades over previous models. There will likely be an improved powertrain with increased horsepower and torque for more exciting driving dynamics.

Inside the cabin, we anticipate premium materials and updated technology features in both trims. An intuitive infotainment system with smartphone integration should make it easy for drivers to stay connected, while a myriad of advanced safety features will provide additional security and peace of mind on the road.

While availability dates remain unconfirmed at this time, the 2024 Ford Explorer’s official unveiling is anticipated soon given the lack of camouflage on these prototype vehicles. With its refined exterior design, suspected performance enhancements, and modernized cabin, consumers should be excited about the next-generation Explorer.

Keep an eye out for more details about the 2024 Ford Explorer Platinum and ST trims as they become available. This promising SUV might just be the perfect blend of style, power, and tech-savvy features your family has been seeking.
