The 2024 BMW X1 lineup is set to impress automotive enthusiasts worldwide with the introduction of its high-performance M35i variant. This new model blends the convenience of a compact SUV with the performance capabilities drivers have come to expect from BMW’s esteemed M division.

Under the hood of the X1 M35i lies a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates an outstanding 312 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. This powerful upgrade from the standard X1’s 228-horsepower engine propels the vehicle from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just under 5 seconds, giving owners a thrilling experience behind the wheel.

Matched with this impressive engine is an eight-speed automatic transmission designed to ensure seamless shifting and optimal performance. Additionally, BMW has fitted the M35i with an xDrive all-wheel-drive system that provides excellent traction and stability in various driving conditions.

To keep up with its increased power, BMW has upgraded the chassis of the X1 M35i for improved handling and a sportier drive. Features such as M Sport suspension, M Sport brakes, and an M Sport steering wheel allow for precise cornering and an engaging driving experience.

The exterior of the 2024 BMW X1 M35i showcases design elements that set it apart from its siblings. Notable differences include more aggressive front and rear bumpers, larger air intakes, dual exhaust tips, and exclusive 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in performance tires.

Inside, the cabin features premium materials and sporty accents like Alcantara upholstery, aluminum trim inserts, and M Sport logos embroidered on the headrests. The M35i also comes equipped with state-of-the-art technology offerings, including BMW’s latest iDrive infotainment system and a crisp digital instrument cluster to keep you connected and informed at all times.

For added convenience, BMW offers an array of driver assistance features on the X1 M35i. Standard safety equipment includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and lane-departure warning. Optional upgrades such as adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and a head-up display ensure drivers have access to the tools they need for safe driving.

Arriving in dealerships in 2024 as part of the third-generation X1 lineup, the powerful M35i model is sure to appeal to a wide range of customers seeking exceptional performance capabilities in a compact and versatile package. Following its debut, the X1 M35i will compete against other high-end performance SUVs like the Audi SQ3 and Mercedes-AMG GLA 45.
