20 Scavenger Hunts to Keep Kids Busy at Home

1. Indoor Treasure Hunt: Hide small items around the house and provide clues for your children to find them.

2. Alphabet Scavenger Hunt: Have your kids search for items that start with each letter of the alphabet.

3. Color Hunt: Pick a color and have your children find as many items as they can that match that color.

4. Nature Scavenger Hunt: Create a list of natural items for your kids to find outside, such as leaves, rocks, and flowers.

5. Animal Hunt: Go on a hunt to find different animal tracks or signs in your backyard or local park.

6. Shape Scavenger Hunt: Have your children search for items in different shapes, such as circles, squares, and triangles.

7. Book Scavenger Hunt: Give your children a list of books or book titles to find in your home library.

8. Number Hunt: Hide number cards around the house and have your kids find them in numerical order.

9. Sensory Scavenger Hunt: Create a sensory experience by hiding different textures, smells, tastes, and sounds for your kids to discover.

10. Science Scavenger Hunt: Give your children a list of science-related items or experiments to find and complete.

11. Food Hunt: Hide snack items around the house and let your kids find and enjoy them.

12. Word Hunt: Have your children search for specific words or word patterns in books, magazines, or newspapers.

13. Art Supply Scavenger Hunt: Hide different art supplies and let your kids find them to create their own masterpiece.

14. Puzzle Piece Hunt: Hide puzzle pieces around the house and have your children find them to complete a puzzle.

15. Time Capsule Hunt: Help your children create a time capsule by finding and collecting items that represent this moment in their lives.

16. Outdoor Scavenger Hunt: Create a list of outdoor items for your kids to find, such as leaves, flowers, and rocks.

17. Cultural Scavenger Hunt: Have your kids search for items or learn about different cultures by finding specific objects or symbols.

18. DIY Scavenger Hunt: Create a list of household items that your children can use to play and create their own games.

19. Musical Instrument Scavenger Hunt: Hide different musical instruments around the house and let your kids find them to make music.

20. Memory Scavenger Hunt: Create a scavenger hunt based on your children’s favorite memories or experiences, with each clue leading to a different memory.
