2-Day Udaipur Itinerary With Best Things To Do – Breathedreamgo

Udaipur, often referred to as the “Venice of the East,” is a city steeped in regal opulence and natural beauty. For travellers keen on exploring this majestic destination over a weekend, here’s a quintessential 2-day itinerary that encapsulates Udaipur’s best experiences.

Day 1: Exploring the Historic Heart

Morning – City Palace and Museum

Kickstart your day early with a visit to the grand City Palace, which is a complex of several palaces boasting of an exquisite blend of Medieval, European, and Chinese architecture. Allow a few hours to absorb the history and craftsmanship as you walk through the museum showcasing royal artifacts.

Late Morning – Jagdish Temple

A short walk from the City Palace will lead you to the revered Jagdish Temple. This architectural marvel, built in 1651, offers a serene slice of spirituality amidst the bustling city. The intricately carved pillars and impressive idol of Lord Vishnu are worth witnessing.

Afternoon – Lunch at Jagat Niwas
