Pregnancy is a time in many women’s lives where they must balance the health and well-being of themselves and their unborn child with the need to work. Whether you are looking for employment that is less physically demanding than your current role or simply seeking options that accommodate your new lifestyle, there are a number of great job opportunities suited for pregnant women. Here is a list of the 16 best jobs that can offer the flexibility, comfort, and safety expectant mothers may need:

1. Freelance Writer/Editor

The flexibility to work from home and control your schedule makes freelancing an ideal option for pregnant women.

2. Virtual Assistant

Virtual assistants work remotely to manage communications, scheduling, and other administrative tasks.

3. Customer Service Representative

Many companies offer remote positions which involve handling customer queries via phone, email or live chat.

4. Online Tutor or Teacher

With video conferencing technology, pregnant women can teach or tutor students from home.
