Chain restaurants often offer their own versions of classic dishes, and Fettuccine Alfredo is no exception. This creamy pasta dish has its origins in Rome but has become a staple on American menus. Based on customer reviews and feedback, we’ve ranked 14 chain restaurant Fettuccine Alfredos from worst to best.

1.Generic Joe’s Pasta Palace

Customer Opinion: Often criticized for its watery sauce and lack of flavor, Generic Joe’s version sits at the bottom of this list.

2.Happy Family Italian Diner

Customer Opinion: Customers mention the noodles are consistently overcooked and the chicken is sometimes under-seasoned.

3.Fast-Feast Italian Eatery

Customer Opinion: While fast and affordable, the Alfredo sauce here is described as bland and too thick, betraying the expectation of a rich, creamy experience.

4.Pasta Factory Express

Customer Opinion: Slightly better than Fast-Feast, but diners often find the sauce to be inconsistent in texture.

5.Olive Tree Cafe

Customer Opinion: The Olive Tree’s Fettuccine Alfredo is said to be hit or miss, with some customers enjoying it but many finding it lacks authentic flavor.

6.Saucy Italian Kitchen

Customer Opinion: Praised for generous portions but docked points for a sauce that can sometimes be too buttery and overpowering.

7.Big Italy Chain Restaurant

Customer Opinion: Middle-of-the-road according to most diners; solid but unremarkable with a standard creamy quotient and satisfactory taste.

8.World of Pasta

Customer Opinion: A notch above average, offering a reliable rendition of Fettuccine Alfredo that customers find comforting if not particularly noteworthy.

9.The Spaghetti House

Customer Opinion: Good quality for the price point, with a commendable balance of creaminess and cheese flavor in their sauce.

10.New York Pasta Garden

Customer Opinion: Breaking into the top five, this restaurant offers an authentic-tasting Alfredo sauce with well-cooked pasta and just the right amount of garlic.

11.Famous Noodles & Company

Customer Opinion: Received compliments for using high-quality ingredients that elevate their Fettuccine Alfredo above many competitors.

12.Little Italy Kitchen

Customer Opinion: Known for its rich and indulgent sauce that’s full of flavor; critics say it might be too heavy for some, but most customers love it.

13.Roma’s Traditional Eatery

Customer Opinion: Highly praised for making a velvety sauce that adheres perfectly to al dente pasta; garners near-universal acclaim from Alfredo aficionados.

14.Mamma’s Authentic Italiano

Customer Opinion: Customers rave about Mamma’s Authentic Italiano’s Fettuccine Alfredo calling it ‘the gold standard’. It reportedly strikes an excellent balance between creamy sauce, high-quality Parmesan cheese, perfectly cooked pasta, and expert seasoning that keeps diners returning time after time.
