1. Cold water rinse: As soon as you notice a milk stain on your baby’s clothes, immediately rinse the stained area with cold water. This will help in preventing the proteins in the milk from setting into the fabric.

2. Liquid laundry detergent: Apply a small amount of liquid laundry detergent directly to the stain and gently rub it in using your fingers or a soft-bristled toothbrush. Let it sit for about 15 minutes before rinsing with cold water.

3. Baking soda paste: Mix equal parts of baking soda and water to create a thick paste. Apply the paste onto the stained area, let it sit for 30 minutes, and then wash the garment as usual.

4. Vinegar solution: Mix one part white vinegar with two parts water and submerge the stained garment in this solution for 15-20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with cold water before washing.

5. Lemon juice: Squeeze some fresh lemon juice onto the stain and let it sit for 10-15 minutes before rinsing off with cold water. The natural bleaching agents present in lemon juice help remove the stain effectively.

6. Enzymatic cleaner: Use an enzyme-based stain remover specifically designed for protein-based stains such as milk. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for application and removal of the cleaner.

7. Salt scrub: Sprinkle some table salt onto a dampened stain and gently rub it in using your fingers or an old toothbrush. After a few minutes, rinse with cold water.

8. Hydrogen peroxide: Mix one part hydrogen peroxide with two parts water and gently dab it onto the stain using a clean cloth or sponge. Let it sit for 10 minutes before washing the garment as normal.

9. Borax solution: Dissolve one tablespoon of borax powder in a cup of hot water and let it cool down slightly. Dip the stained area in the solution for 15 minutes, then rinse with cold water and wash as usual.

10. Toothpaste: Apply some non-gel toothpaste (preferably white) onto the stain and rub it in gently using a soft-bristled toothbrush. Rinse with cold water and wash as normal.

11. Sunlight exposure: After using any of the above methods, if the stain is still slightly visible, hang the garment out in the sun to dry. The natural bleaching effects of sunlight will help further lighten the stain.

By following these simple and effective techniques, you can effectively remove stubborn milk stains from your baby’s clothes and keep them looking fresh and clean.
