10 Ways to Get Over a Player

Breaking free from the grip of a player can be emotionally tough. However, it’s important to move forward and find happiness again. Here are ten ways to get over a player and reclaim your life.

1. Cut Off Contact: Completely cut off any communication with the player. Block their phone number, social media accounts, and delete their contact information. This will help eliminate any temptation to reach out or respond to them.

2. Reflect on the Experience: Take time to think about why you were attracted to the player in the first place. Recognize if there were any red flags, warning signs, or unhealthy patterns that contributed to the situation.

3. Prioritize Self-Care: Focus on looking after yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally. Maintain a healthy diet, exercise regularly, get enough sleep, and engage in activities that bring you joy.

4. Surround Yourself with Supportive People: Lean on your friends and family who genuinely care for you and your well-being. Talk openly about your feelings with trusted individuals who can offer support and encouragement.

5. Set Boundaries: Reflect on your past relationship with the player and identify areas where boundaries were crossed or nonexistent. Moving forward, establish clear boundaries with others to protect yourself from future heartache.

6. Pursue Hobbies: Distract yourself by engaging in activities that you genuinely enjoy or have always wanted to try. This will keep your mind occupied while providing a sense of accomplishment and personal growth.

7. Focus on Personal Growth: Use this experience as an opportunity for self-improvement by setting goals for yourself, such as advancing in your career or working on developing better communication skills.

8. Find Closure: Reflect upon the experience with a balance of acceptance and forgiveness for both yourself and the player involved. Let go of any negative energy tied to the relationship so you can fully move forward.

9. Stay Positive: Remind yourself that not all people are players and there are partners out there who will treat you with respect and care. Focus on the qualities you desire in a future partner rather than dwelling on past negative experiences.

10. Give Yourself Time: Recovering from hurtful experiences takes time, and that’s okay. Allow yourself the space to heal and grow at your own pace, without rushing into new relationships too quickly.

Healing from the sting of a player is possible with time, growth, and self-care. By following these ten steps, you’ll be well on your way to finding happiness and healthier relationships in the future.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
