10 Ways to Eat Pineapple Core

1. Smoothies: Blend pieces of pineapple core with your favorite fruits, such as bananas, strawberries, or mangoes, and add some yogurt or orange juice to create a delicious and nutritious smoothie.

2. Fruit Salad: Dice the pineapple core along with other fruits like kiwi, grapes, and watermelon to make a refreshing fruit salad that’s perfect for picnics or summer parties.

3. Sautéed Pineapple Core: Sauté pineapple core pieces in some coconut oil and season with a pinch of salt and sugar for a sweet and tangy side dish that pairs well with grilled meats.

4. Pineapple Core Stir-Fry: Add finely chopped pineapple core to your favorite stir-fry recipe for a burst of tropical flavor.

5. Infused Water: Slice the pineapple core into thin strips and add it to a pitcher of water. Allow the water to infuse in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving over ice for a refreshing beverage.

6. Pineapple Core Slaw: Shred the pineapple core and mix it with shredded cabbage, carrots, and green onions. Drizzle with a simple dressing of lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper for an invigorating slaw.

7. Pineapple Core Chips: Thinly slice the pineapple core and lay the pieces out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 200F (93C) for 2-3 hours or until crispy, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking.

8. Pineapple Core Popsicles: Puree pineapple core pieces with coconut milk, honey, or agave syrup to taste and pour into popsicle molds before freezing for an amazing treat on hot days.

9. Pickled Pineapple Core: In a saucepan, combine equal parts sugar, water, and vinegar along with some spices like star anise or cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil, then carefully add diced pineapple core. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, then allow to cool and refrigerate overnight. Enjoy as a unique snack or Use them as a topping for burgers or tacos.

10. Pineapple Core Sorbet: Puree pineapple core pieces with some lemon juice and simple syrup to taste. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions for a delightful sorbet that will impress any guest.
