1. How are you feeling about your classes so far? Is there any subject or assignment that you’re struggling with?

2. Are you finding enough time to balance your schoolwork, extracurricular activities, and personal hobbies? Is there anything you would like to change in your schedule?

3. How are your relationships with your classmates and teachers? Is there anyone you would like to develop a better connection with?

4. Have you set any goals for yourself this semester? How are you progressing towards achieving them?

5. Are you involved in any school clubs, sports, or organizations? How is that experience going for you?

6. Is there anything happening at school or in your personal life that is causing you stress or affecting your mental well-being?

7. How do you feel about the workload and expectations from your teachers? Do you feel overwhelmed or challenged?

8. Are there any topics or subjects that you’re particularly interested in? Is there anything you would like to explore further?

9. How are you managing your time and staying organized with your assignments and deadlines? Is there anything you need help with?

10. Do you have any questions or concerns about your future academic plans or college preparations?

Remember, these questions are meant to spark meaningful conversations and check in with middle and high school students. Active listening and empathy are crucial when discussing their responses.
