Wisconsin, with its rolling hills, vibrant forests, and crisp autumn air, offers some of the most stunning fall landscapes in the United States. As the leaves turn from green to vivid hues of red, orange, and yellow, it’s a perfect time to explore what the Badger State has to offer. Here is a list of the 10 best places to enjoy fall in Wisconsin:

.Door County – Often referred to as the “Cape Cod of the Midwest,” Door County is famous for its picturesque fall scenes with lighthouses framed by autumn leaves. Take a scenic drive or enjoy apple picking in one of its many orchards.

.Devil’s Lake State Park – Known for its stunning bluffs and rock formations overlooking a sparkling lake, Devil’s Lake becomes a canvas of various shades of red and gold during the fall months. It’s an ideal spot for hiking and photography.

.Holy Hill – Located near Hubertus, Holy Hill National Shrine offers panoramic views of the Kettle Moraine State Forest’s autumnal splendor.

.Taliesin East – Frank Lloyd Wright’s estate in Spring Green showcases a majestic blend of architecture and nature with colorful trees surrounding Wright’s famous designs.

.Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest – Offering over a million acres for exploration, this forest is bursting with fiery maple trees in the fall, which can be enjoyed by foot, bike, or even ATV.

.Lake Geneva – The shoreline path around Lake Geneva provides spectacular views of grand estates set against a backdrop of changing leaves.

.Apostle Islands – While known for summer kayaking adventures around sea caves, the Apostle Islands’ also possess incredible fall beauty visible from numerous hiking trails on the mainland and islands.

.Madison’s Arboretum – This conservation park showcases both local and international flora that ignite with colors during autumn.

.Sturgeon Bay – Positioned at the doorway to Door County, Sturgeon Bay is superb for viewing fall foliage along the water’s edge and through quaint town streets.

.Pepin County – A hidden gem along Lake Pepin – part of the Mississippi River – delights visitors with charming small towns like Stockholm deep in vibrant fall colors.

Visiting these Wisconsin locations during the autumn season can provide an unforgettable experience filled with beauty and serenity as you take in some of nature’s most impressive displays. Whether you’re after an outdoors adventure or just want to witness fall’s fiery hues peacefully.
