1.Charles & Oliver – At the top of our list is the dynamic between Charles, a washed-up actor, and Oliver, a flamboyant theater director. Their quirky and endearing friendship provides not only comic relief but also a touching depth as they navigate their investigation and personal demons together.

2.Mabel & Charles – This unlikely duo pairs young Mabel with the older Charles. Despite their age gap, they share a remarkable bond and understanding that transcends generations, largely driven by their shared connection to the mysterious death at the Arconia.

3.Mabel & Oscar – Childhood friends reunited under grave circumstances, Mabel and Oscar’s reconnection is steeped in history and mutual affection. Their comfortable familiarity provides stability and solace amidst the chaos of the mystery.

4.Tim Kono & Zoe Cassidy – While their friendship ultimately ended in tragedy with Zoe’s death before the series begins and Tim’s untimely demise kickstarting it all, glimpses into their past reveal a complex relationship worth noting among the tight-knit group of friends.

5.Charles & Jan – Although it takes a dark turn, the initial camaraderie between Charles and his fellow building resident and love interest Jan brings out a livelier side of him as they bond over music and solve puzzles together.

6.Oliver & Teddy Dimas – A friendship built on professional respect and personal admiration, Oliver’s relationship with successful businessman Teddy highlights Oliver’s longing for appreciation and his sometimes misguided loyalty.

7.Mabel & Lucy – As we dive into Mabel’s past, her friendship with Lucy showcases youthful innocence and dedication despite unfortunate events that force them apart. Their friendship gives insight into Mabel’s character development throughout the series.

8.Oliver & Uma Heller – Although not without its ups and downs due to conflicting interests regarding The Arconia, Oliver and Uma’s interaction is laced with witty banter that adds light-heartedness to their deeper connection as long-standing neighbors.

9.Mabel & Bunny Folger – Their relationship is initially based on suspicion and hostility; however, through flashbacks and revelations it becomes clear that they shared an artistic connection that could have blossomed into an unexpected friendship under different circumstances.

10.Charles & Lester – An unusual pairing; Charles’ ongoing conversations with fellow Arconia resident Lester provide not only comical moments but also occasional pearls of wisdom that help him sort out his life both personally and as an amateur sleuth.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
