VidCon, the digital video industry’s premier event, is set to return in 2023 after a pandemic-induced hiatus. VidCon was founded in 2010 by veteran YouTube creators John and Hank Green as a way to bring together the emerging online video community. It has since grown into a global phenomenon, attracting thousands of creators and fans from around the world with each iteration.

Dates

VidCon 2023 will take place from June 22-25, 2023, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. The event will welcome attendees from across the globe, and the event organizers promise that the event will be even bigger and better.

News

VidCon is known for hosting some of the biggest names in the industry, and the 2023 edition is set to carry on that tradition. Attendees can expect to hear from top YouTube creators, media executives, and industry leaders during the four-day event. VidCon will also feature panels, workshops, Q&As, and meet-and-greets with popular creators, as well as networking opportunities for attendees.

Rumors

There are already rumors about the guest appearances at the upcoming event. Many rumors have speculated that the event organizers are looking to bring in more social media platforms beyond YouTube, such as TikTok and Instagram, to reflect the evolving digital media ecosystem. Also, there has been speculation about whether VidCon will expand its international presence, with some speculating about events being held in Asia and Europe.

Everything Else to Know

Among the many attractions scheduled to appear at VidCon 2023, attendees can expect to see a continuation of the event’s tradition of featuring the biggest names in the digital media industry. To date, VidCon has hosted panels, Q&As, and meet-and-greets featuring YouTube personalities such as Casey Neistat, Lilly Singh, and Philip DeFranco, among others.

In addition to the attractions and exciting opportunities to connect with fellow creators, VidCon has also become famous for its cosplay contest. Fans in attendance have been known to dress up like their favorite creators, using YouTube and social media to connect with other fans and shine a spotlight on their work.
