It’s a fact of life that remote controls will inevitably get misplaced or lost from time to time. If you own a Roku streaming device, you know how frustrating it can be to try and find the remote when you’re in the mood to binge-watch your favorite shows. But worry not, fellow streamers! There’s a simple trick to help ensure you never lose your

Roku remote again – and it all starts with attaching an item finder.

Introducing the Item Finder: Your Remote’s New BFF

An item finder is a small, battery-powered device that can be attached to frequently misplaced items, such as keys, wallets, and of course, remote controls. They come in various shapes and sizes. When paired with a smartphone app, you can easily locate the lost item by making the item finder emit a sound or light. Some popular item finders include Tile, Chipolo, and Orbit.

How to Attach an Item Finder to Your Roku Remote

1. Choose an item finder: First things first, purchase an item finder that best suits your needs. Compare features such as battery life, range, and compatibility with your smartphone.

2. Attach the item finder: Once you have your chosen device in hand, securely attach it to your Roku remote. Most item finders come with adhesive pads or key rings that make attachment straightforward.

3. Pair it with your smartphone: Download the corresponding app for your item finder onto your smartphone (it will usually be available for both iOS and Android). Follow the in-app instructions to pair your smartphone with the item finder on your Roku remote.

4. Customize settings: From the app settings menu, you can customize additional features such as volume level of alerts and LED light colors if supported by your specific item finder model.

5. Ta-da! Never lose that remote again: Now that your Roku remote is equipped with an item finder, you can easily locate it when misplaced. Simply open the smartphone app and trigger the alert to guide you straight to your remote with either sound or light.

Bonus Tip: The Roku Mobile App

For those times when your Roku remote is truly lost, or you don’t have an item finder, remember that there’s the Roku mobile app! This app works as a virtual remote for your Roku device, allowing you to search for shows, adjust volume, and even manage your channels. The app is available on both iOS and Android platforms.

In Conclusion

By attaching an item finder to your Roku remote and pairing it with a smartphone app, the days of rummaging through couch cushions to find your lost clicker are over. Enjoy hassle-free streaming with this simple yet game-changing solution. Happy binge-watching!
