Sony’s PlayStation Virtual Reality (PSVR) system has successfully entered the world of gaming, providing players with immersive experiences like never before. With rumors and anticipated features of the PSVR 2 in circulation, gamers worldwide are eager for the latest scoop. This article will explore everything we currently know about the PSVR 2, including its price, release date, games and other essential details.

**Price**

While Sony has not released official pricing for PSVR 2 just yet, one can assume that it may be in line with industry standards. Taking into account competitors such as Oculus and HTC, we can estimate that the price range for the PSVR 2 might be anywhere from $400 to $600. However, it is crucial to keep an eye out for official announcements to gain a more concrete understanding of the system’s cost when it becomes available.

**Games**

When it comes to gaming on PSVR 2, players can expect plenty of new titles and upgraded experiences from existing games in the PlayStation universe. Some of the confirmed forthcoming titles include:

1. Resident Evil 8: Village – Offering a more intense experience than ever before, dive into the world of survival horror in this highly anticipated sequel.

2. Gran Turismo 7 – Racing fans will appreciate the realistic graphics and enhanced gameplay mechanics with this VR-compatible title.

3. Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy – An old favorite that is being remastered for virtual reality will allow players to wield their lightsabers and use The Force like never before.

4. Doom 3: VR Edition – With a horror-filled journey through Mars’ UAC facility, this game brings id Software’s classic back with improved visuals and full VR compatibility.

We can only expect Sony to announce even more exciting compatible games as PSVR 2 nears its release date.

**Additional Features and Specs**

Sony has carefully upgraded the PSVR 2 to provide users with a more advanced device compared to its predecessor. Here are some of the standout improvements:

1. Enhanced Visuals: The PSVR 2 is expected to have a higher resolution display at 4000 x 2040 pixels, providing significantly better screen clarity compared to the first-gen model.

2. Wider Field of View: A wider field of view (FOV) of up to 110 degrees will grant players an improved sense of presence within the game world.

3. Eye-tracking Technology: An eye-tracking feature will boost realism and immersion, allowing for more natural in-game interactions.

4. Next-gen Controllers: New controllers utilizing haptic feedback and adaptive triggers will offer a more immersive gaming experience through improved touch sensation.

5. Wireless Connection: Although unconfirmed, there are speculations that the new unit may feature wireless capabilities, meaning gamers could leave behind tangled cables.

**Release Date**

As for when to expect the PSVR 2, no official release date has been announced yet. However, several sources suggest that Sony might unveil the device sometime in late 2022 or early 2023.

In conclusion, the PlayStation Virtual Reality ecosystem continues to expand with the impending arrival of PSVR 2. Superior visuals, an array of amazing games, and enhanced gaming technology make this VR system highly anticipated by gamers worldwide. Players ought to keep an eye on official announcements for further information regarding pricing and release dates. Get ready for an incredible virtual reality experience with Sony’s PSVR 2!
