Onkyo is a well-known brand in the AV receiver market, and their TX-SR373 is one of their latest models. This AV receiver is a budget-friendly option that still packs a punch. Let’s take a closer look at its features, advantages, and disadvantages in this Onkyo TX-SR373 review.

Features:

The Onkyo TX-SR373 offers 4K/Ultra HD pass-through, HDR10, and BT.2020 support, which allows you to experience high-quality video content. It has a built-in Bluetooth connectivity that lets you stream music from your mobile devices, laptops, and other sources.

This AV receiver has five HDMI inputs, which means you can connect multiple devices such as gaming consoles, Blu-ray players, and cable boxes. It also has an HDMI output, which allows for easy connection to your TV. The TX-SR373 has two composite video inputs, two digital audio inputs, and several analog audio inputs.

This AV receiver has several built-in audio effects, including Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, and Dolby Digital Plus. It also has zone B output, which makes it possible to listen to your music in two different rooms.

Benefits:

The Onkyo TX-SR373 is a budget-friendly option that doesn’t compromise on performance. It offers high-quality video and audio output, making it an excellent addition to your home theater system. The built-in Bluetooth connectivity is a convenient feature that lets you stream music from your mobile devices easily.

Having five HDMI inputs makes it possible for you to connect multiple devices, which is especially beneficial if you have a large home theater system. The built-in audio effects produce an immersive audio experience, allowing you to enjoy your favorite movies and TV shows with high-quality sound.

Drawbacks:

One major drawback of the Onkyo TX-SR373 is that it doesn’t support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. These are the latest audio formats that are becoming popular among audiophiles, but this AV receiver doesn’t support them. Another downside is that the setup process can be time-consuming and complicated, especially if you’re not tech-savvy.

Conclusion:

Overall, the Onkyo TX-SR373 is a powerful and efficient AV receiver that offers high-quality video and audio output. It has several built-in audio effects, Bluetooth connectivity, and five HDMI inputs, making it a great addition to your home theater system. However, it doesn’t support the latest audio formats and can be challenging to set up initially. If you’re looking for an affordable option that performs well, the Onkyo TX-SR373 is an excellent choice.
