Yahoo is a popular search engine and email service provider that’s been around for years. It’s no surprise that they have their own mobile application available on the Google Play Store for Android users.

If you’re new to the Yahoo app, here’s a quick guide on how to use it on your Android mobile device:

Step 1: Download and Install

First things first, head over to the Google Play Store on your Android device and search for the “Yahoo” app. Tap the “Install” button and wait for the app to download and install on your phone. Once it’s done, the icon should appear on your homescreen or app drawer.

Step 2: Sign In

To get started, open the Yahoo app and tap the “Sign In” button at the bottom of the screen. You will then be asked to enter your Yahoo email address and password, or you can sign in with your Google or Facebook account.

Step 3: Explore the Home Page

After logging in, you’ll see the Yahoo home page. This page contains various tabs such as “News,” “Sports,” “Finance,” “Weather,” “Entertainment,” and more. Swipe left or right to navigate through the different categories or tap on the menu icon (three lines) in the top-left corner to view a dropdown menu of all the categories.

Step 4: Customize Your Feed

If you want to personalize your Yahoo app experience, you can customize your feed. To do this, swipe left to access the “My Feeds” tab at the end of the home page. Tap the “Edit” button to add or remove topics that interest you.

Step 5: Use the Search Bar

At the top of the Yahoo app home page, you’ll see a search bar. Use this to search for specific news articles, sports scores, stocks, weather, and more.

Step 6: Read Articles

To read an article, tap on the headline or image on the home page. This will take you to the full article where you can read it in its entirety, share it with others, save it for later, or comment on it.

Step 7: Check Your Email

If you’re using Yahoo as your email service provider, you can easily access your inbox from the app. Simply tap the “Mail” icon at the bottom of the screen to read and respond to your emails.

In conclusion, the Yahoo app is a great tool for staying updated on the news, weather, and stocks while on the go. With these simple steps, you should be able to easily navigate and use the app on your Android device.
