Slack is a popular messaging and collaboration tool used by teams all over the world. One of its useful features is the ability to start a Huddle. A Huddle is a quick, impromptu meeting that can be started within a channel or direct message. Joining a Huddle is easy and can be done in a few simple steps.

Step 1: Open Slack

The first step to joining a Huddle is to open Slack on your desktop or mobile device. If you don’t have Slack installed, you can download it from the Slack website or your device’s app store.

Step 2: Navigate to the Channel or Direct Message

Once you have opened Slack, navigate to the Channel or Direct Message where the Huddle is taking place. You will see a notification that a Huddle has started.

Step 3: Click on the Join Huddle Button

To join the Huddle, click on the Join Huddle button that appears in the notification. This will take you to the Huddle video call.

Step 4: Join the Video Call

Once you have clicked on the Join Huddle button, you will be taken to the Huddle video call. Here, you can see and hear the other participants in the Huddle. Make sure your microphone and camera are turned on so that you can participate fully.

Step 5: Participate in the Huddle

Once you have joined the Huddle, you can participate like any other meeting. You can share your screen, turn your camera off or on, and chat with the other participants. When the Huddle is over, simply leave the call by clicking on the Leave Call button.

Joining a Slack Huddle is a quick and easy way to have impromptu meetings with your team. By following these simple steps, you can join a Huddle in no time.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
