Gmail is a widely popular email service that is used by millions of people all over the world. One of its features includes the ability to exchange messages through conversations. However, there are times when you may only need to forward a single message from a conversation instead of the entire thread. In this article, we will show you how to forward an individual message from a conversation in Gmail.

Step 1: Log in to Your Gmail Account

First, you need to log in to your Gmail account. To do this, simply go to the Gmail website and enter your email and password. Once you’ve successfully logged in, you’ll be directed to your Gmail inbox.

Step 2: Open the Conversation

Find the conversation that contains the message you want to forward. Click on the conversation to expand it. You will see a list of emails in the conversation thread. Look for the message you want to forward.

Step 3: Open the Message

Click on the down arrow button on the right side of the message you want to forward. This will display a drop-down list of options. From the list of options, choose “Forward” to open a new window to compose a new message.

Step 4: Edit the Message

In the new message window, you can make any necessary changes to the message if you want. You can add recipients, add more information, or add more context to the forwarded message.

Step 5: Send the Message

Once you’re done editing the forwarded message, click the “Send” button to send it to the recipients you’ve added. That’s it! The forwarded message has now been sent and the recipients can now view the message.

Conclusion

Learning how to forward an individual message from a conversation in Gmail is an essential skill to have. It allows you to easily share a message with others without having to forward the entire conversation. By following these simple steps, you’ll be able to forward individual messages from your Gmail conversations with ease. With this knowledge, you can now easily and efficiently share information with your colleagues, friends, and family.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
