Google Calendar is a powerful tool that helps users manage their schedules and appointments. However, there may be times when you want to delete a calendar that you no longer need. In this article, we will walk you through the steps on how to delete a Google Calendar.

Step 1: Open Google Calendar

The first step is to open Google Calendar on your computer. You can do this by going to calendar.google.com and logging in with your Google account.

Step 2: Select the Calendar to Delete

Once you have opened Google Calendar, locate the calendar that you want to delete. You can find it on the left side of the screen under “My calendars.”

Step 3: Click on the Three Dots Icon

Next, click on the three dots icon located on the right side of the calendar that you want to delete. This will open a drop-down menu.

Step 4: Click on “Settings and Sharing”

From the drop-down menu, select “Settings and sharing.” This will take you to the settings page for the selected calendar.

Step 5: Scroll Down to the “Delete Calendar” Section

Scroll down the page until you see the “Delete calendar” section. This section is located at the bottom of the page.

Step 6: Click on “Delete”

Click on the “Delete” button to delete the calendar. A confirmation window will appear to make sure that you want to delete the calendar. Click on “Delete” again to confirm.

Step 7: The Calendar is Deleted

Congratulations! You have successfully deleted a Google Calendar. The calendar will no longer appear in your list of calendars.

In conclusion, deleting a Google Calendar is a simple process that can be done in just a few steps. By following the steps outlined above, you can easily remove any unwanted calendars from your Google Calendar account.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
