Roku is a popular streaming device that offers an easy and convenient way to access your favorite entertainment on your TV. However, what happens when you lose your remote or the batteries run out? Don’t worry, as this article will show you how to connect Roku to Wi-Fi without a remote.

Method 1: Using the Roku mobile app

If you have a smartphone or tablet, you can use the free Roku mobile app to control your Roku device. Here’s how to connect Roku to Wi-Fi without a remote using the mobile app:

1. Download the Roku mobile app on your smartphone or tablet.

2. Launch the app and tap on the “Devices” icon at the bottom of the screen.

3. Select your Roku device from the list of available devices.

4. Tap on the “Remote” icon at the bottom of the screen, then select “Connect” when prompted.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your Roku device to your Wi-Fi network.

Method 2: Using an Ethernet cable

1. If your Roku device has an Ethernet port, you can use an Ethernet cable to connect it to your router. Here’s how to do it:

2. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to your Roku device and the other end to your router or modem.

3. Turn on your Roku device and wait for it to detect the Ethernet connection.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your Roku device to your Wi-Fi network using the Ethernet connection.

Method 3: Using the WPS button

If your router has a WPS button, you can use it to connect your Roku device to your Wi-Fi network. Here’s how to do it:

1. Press and hold the WPS button on your router for 3-5 seconds.

2. Press the “Pairing” button on your Roku device.

3. Wait for the Roku device to detect the WPS connection and connect to your Wi-Fi network.

In conclusion, losing your Roku remote doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy your favorite entertainment on your TV. Use any of the above methods to connect your Roku device to your Wi-Fi network without a remote. However, if you’re having trouble connecting your Roku device to your Wi-Fi network, it’s best to contact Roku customer support for further assistance.
