How to Bookmark Websites in Chrome on Your Smartphone

Bookmarking websites on your Chrome smartphone is an efficient way to keep track of pages you want to revisit later. Not only can regular bookmarking help you organize the content you’re interested in, but it also saves you time in the future because you can quickly find your favorite webpages and resources.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to bookmarking websites in Chrome on your smartphone:

1. Open Chrome, and go to the website you want to bookmark.

2. Once you’re on the website you want to bookmark, tap the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of your screen.

3. From the dropdown menu, select “Bookmark.”

4. You can also add a name for your bookmark or choose a specific folder to store it in. To do this, simply tap on the “Add” button and create a name for the bookmark, or select a folder from the menu.

5. Finally, hit “Save,” and that’s it! You’ve just bookmarked a site on your Chrome smartphone.

If you want to access your bookmarks, go back to the three-dot menu and select “Bookmarks.” You should see a list of all your bookmarks and folders you have created. If you want to edit or organize your bookmarks, you can tap and hold on any bookmark to reveal additional options.

You can also access your bookmarks from other devices you use Chrome on (e.g., your laptop or tablet), as long as you’re signed in to your Google account. This makes it easy for you to access all your favorite sites no matter where you are.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
