When it comes to premium eReaders, Amazon Kindle Scribe and Oasis are two of the most popular choices on the market. Both devices offer a range of features that make reading books, newspapers, and magazines an enjoyable experience. However, is one better than the other? In this article, we will compare Amazon Kindle Scribe and Oasis to see which one stands out as the best premium eReader.

Design

The first thing that sets Amazon Kindle Scribe apart from the Oasis is its design. The Scribe features a 7.8-inch display surrounded by a sleek black exterior. The size and weight of the device make it comfortable to hold, even for extended periods. The Scribe also includes a USB-C port for charging and data transfer, which is conveniently located at the bottom of the device.

The Oasis, on the other hand, has a smaller 7-inch display but features a unique design with a thicker side that provides a comfortable grip. Its aluminum exterior gives the device a premium look and feel. The Oasis also includes a physical page-turn button, which makes reading more intuitive.

Display

Both devices feature e-ink displays that offer a sharp and clear reading experience. The Kindle Scribe has a resolution of 1872 x 1404 pixels, while the Oasis has a resolution of 1680 x 1264 pixels. The Scribe also features adjustable warm lighting, which can help reduce eye strain in low light conditions.

Battery Life

One of the most important features of any eReader is its battery life. The Kindle Scribe can last for up to 4 weeks on a single charge, while the Oasis can last for up to 6 weeks. The Oasis also includes a fast-charging feature that can fully charge the device in just 2 hours.

Storage

When it comes to storage, both devices offer ample space for your reading material. The Kindle Scribe comes with 8GB of storage, while the Oasis comes with 8GB or 32GB of storage, depending on which model you choose. Both devices also include free cloud storage for all Amazon content.

Price

The Kindle Scribe and Oasis are both considered premium eReaders and come with a higher price tag than other Kindle models. The Kindle Scribe starts at $319, while the Oasis starts at $269 for the 8GB version and $299 for the 32GB version.

Conclusion

In conclusion, both Amazon Kindle Scribe and Oasis are excellent options for those looking for a premium eReader. The Scribe offers a larger display and adjustable warm lighting, while the Oasis features a unique design with a physical page-turn button and fast-charging capabilities. Both devices have excellent battery life and ample storage space. Ultimately, the choice between these two devices comes down to personal preference and budget. If you prefer a larger display and adjustable lighting, the Scribe may be the better option. If you prioritize design and physical buttons, the Oasis may be the best choice.
