Critical Role, the beloved web series and entertainment company, has announced a bold new venture into the world of podcasting, with a fresh and experimental show that brings together two of its most talented cast members: Taliesin Jaffe and Laura Bailey. The new podcast, titled “The High Level Adventures of Taliesin and Laura,” promises to push the boundaries of storytelling and comedy, and will debut on February 22nd.

This exciting new project marks a new chapter in Critical Role’s ongoing expansion into the world of podcasting. The company, which has already gained a massive following through its flagship web series and other ventures, is eager to explore new formats and styles to entertain its audience.

“The High Level Adventures of Taliesin and Laura” is a podcast that combines humor, storytelling, and fantasy elements in a unique way. Each episode will feature Taliesin Jaffe and Laura Bailey as they embark on a series of wacky adventures, playing roles that are both fictional and humorous. Think “The Matrix” meets “The X-Files” with a dash of “The Office” thrown in for good measure.

The show’s premise is this: Taliesin and Laura play characters who are on a quest to explore the mysterious and fantastical world of “The Dimension of the Damned.” As they navigate this strange and unpredictable realm, they’ll encounter bizarre creatures, quirky characters, and absurd situations that will test their skills and their sanity.

“Critical Role has always been about pushing the boundaries of storytelling and entertainment, and this new podcast is the perfect expression of that spirit,” said Matt Mercer, Critical Role’s founder and creator. “Taliesin and Laura are two of the most talented and entertaining performers we’ve had the pleasure of working with, and we’re thrilled to see them bring their unique brand of humor and energy to this new project.”

Taliesin Jaffe, a veteran of Critical Role and Dungeons & Dragons, has been a fan favorite for his quick wit and clever humor. He’s teamed up with Laura Bailey, a critically acclaimed voice actress known for her roles in video games and animation, to bring their unique blend of humor and expertise to the podcast.

“We’re incredibly excited to be working on this new project,” said Jaffe and Bailey in a joint statement. “We’re huge fans of each other’s work and can’t wait to see what kind of absurd and hilarious adventures we’ll come up with. This podcast is a chance for us to try something new and have a lot of fun doing it.”

With “The High Level Adventures of Taliesin and Laura,” Critical Role is once again breaking new ground and offering fans something fresh and exciting. The podcast will debut on February 22nd, and will be available on popular podcast platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Google Podcasts. Stay tuned for more information and updates on this exciting new venture!
