Intro: Cookies may enhance your browsing experience in many ways, from saving website preferences to retaining login information. In this article, we will walk you through 9 easy steps to enable cookies on your iPad.

Step 1: Locate the Settings app

Unlock your iPad and find the “Settings” app on your home screen. The app icon is grey with gears, and tapping it will open the application.

Step 2: Scroll down to “Safari.”

Once you open “Settings,” scroll down until you find “Safari” and tap on it. This will bring up the options menu for Safari, Apple’s built-in web browser.

Step 3: Access Privacy & Security

In the Safari options menu, look for the “Privacy & Security” section. It is usually located towards the top of the list.

Step 4: Find “Block Cookies”

Under “Privacy & Security,” locate an option called “Block Cookies.” This toggle controls how cookies are managed on your device.

Step 5: Tap on “Block Cookies”

Clicking or tapping on “Block Cookies” will bring up a dialogue box with various cookie settings.

Step 6: Choose your desired setting

There are usually four different options available in this section:

1.Always Block – Blocks all cookies.

2.Allow from current website only – Allows cookies only from the website currently being viewed.

3.Allow from websites I visit – Allows cookies from websites you visit frequently.

4.Always allow – Enables all cookies.

To enable cookies for a better browsing experience, choose either “Allow from current website only” or “Allow from websites I visit,” depending on your preference.

Step 7: Confirm changes

After selecting your desired cookie setting, tap anywhere outside of the dialogue box to confirm and save the changes.

Step 8: Close Settings App

With the proper cookie settings in place, you can now close the “Settings” app.

Step 9: Browse with enabled cookies

Your iPad will now use your selected cookie settings while browsing the web, which should enhance your overall experience.

Conclusion: Enabling cookies on your iPad can significantly improve your web browsing experience. By following these 9 simple steps, you can quickly and easily adjust your iPad’s cookie settings to match your personal preferences. Enjoy!

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
