Introduction:

Jelly nails, the trend taking social media by storm, are the perfect way to add a pop of color and shine to your fingertips. With their translucent, jelly-like appearance and eye-catching colors, they’re the perfect addition to your nail art collection. Here are three easy ways to achieve beautiful jelly nails at home.

1.Gel Polish Method:

Materials:

– Clear gel polish

– Colored gel polish

– UV/LED lamp

– Dotting tool

– Base coat and top coat

Instructions:

a.Prepare your nails by filing and shaping them as desired.

b.Apply a base coat and cure under a UV/LED lamp for 30 seconds.

c.Apply a thin layer of clear gel polish on your nails.

d.While the clear polish is still wet, use the dotting tool to apply small drops of colored gel polish into it.

e.Gently blend the colored polish with the clear base without completely mixing them together; this will create a cloudy, jelly-like effect.

f.Cure the nails under a UV/LED lamp for 60 seconds.

g.Repeat steps c-f for additional layers if desired.

h.Finish with a top coat and cure for another 30 seconds.

2.Sheer Polish Method:

Materials:

– Sheer nail polish (try pastels or brights)

– Base coat and top coat

Instructions:

a.Prepare your nails by filing and shaping as desired.

b.Apply a base coat and let it dry for 2 minutes.

c.Apply a thin layer of sheer nail polish; choose a color that will complement your skin tone.

d.Allow the first layer to dry before applying another thin layer; repeat as needed until you have achieved your desired opacity.

e.Finish with a top coat to seal in color and add shine.

3.Press-on Jelly Nails:

Materials:

– Press-on nails (transparent or tinted)

– Nail glue

– Nail file and clippers

Instructions:

a.Choose the right size press-on nails for your fingers.

b.Use a nail file or clippers to trim and shape the press-on nails to your desired length.

c.Apply a small amount of nail glue on the false nail and press it onto your natural nail, making sure to align the cuticle edge correctly.

d.Hold the press-on nail in place for a few seconds to ensure the glue has dried.

e.Repeat steps c-d for all ten fingers.

Conclusion:

With these three simple methods, you can now rock the jelly nail trend at home! Whether you use gel polish, sheer polish, or press-on nails, you’ll be dazzling everyone with your beautiful and vibrant fingertips.
