Spread the love

The romantic comedy genre has always been a favorite among movie lovers, offering a mix of laughter, love, and lighthearted entertainment. For those looking to indulge in these feel-good movies without the price tag, YouTube has emerged as a surprising haven for free, full-length films. Here’s a list of some of the best free rom-coms available on YouTube that you can enjoy right now:

1. “My Fake Fiance” (2009)

Jennifer and Vince find themselves in need of cash and decide that the way to rack up the dough is to fake an engagement and wedding for the gifts. This hilarious scenario unfolds with unexpected feelings that might not be so fake after all.

2. “A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song” (2011)

In this modern musical take on the classic tale, Katie dreams of becoming a recording artist but is held back by her stepmother and stepsister. When Katie falls for a new boy at school, she must find her voice to chase her dreams.

3. “What If” (a.k.a “The F Word”) (2013)

Starring Daniel Radcliffe, this film explores the story of Wallace who’s been burned by bad relationships and forms an instant bond with Chantry. But there’s a catch: Chantry has a long-term boyfriend.

4. “Naughty & Nice” (2014)

A heartwarming holiday romance that follows a big city radio DJ as he gets stranded in small-town Colorado where he meets an enchanting local sweetheart.

5. “Falling for Christmas” (2016)

In this delightful Christmas tale, resort heiress ensures amnesia after a skiing accident and finds herself in the care of a handsome lodge owner and his daughter in the days leading up to Christmas.

6. “Christopher and His Kind” (2011)

While not your traditional rom-com, this biographical film portrays writer Christopher Isherwood’s experiences in Berlin which inspire him both romantically and creatively.

Remember that availability can change, so make sure to watch these gems while you can on YouTube. Pop some popcorn and snuggle up for these enjoyable free rom-coms that are just waiting to fill your screen with heartwarming hilarity and romance.

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
