Soap jelly is a fun and creative homemade hygiene product that can add a touch of whimsey to your bathing experience. Making soap jelly is a simple process that uses just a few ingredients. You can even customize the soap jellies with colors and fragrances to your taste. Follow these 12 easy steps to create your own soap jelly.

1. Gather materials: To make soap jelly, you’ll need liquid soap or shower gel, unflavoredgelatin powder, water, food coloring (optional), and essential oils or fragrance (optional).

2. Choose a mold: Any clean, heat-resistant silicone mold will work for your soap jelly. It can be any shape or size – get creative!

3. Measure the liquid soap: For every half cup of liquid soap or shower gel you use, you’ll need two tablespoons of unflavoredgelatin powder.

4. Heat the water: In a small saucepan, bring one cup of water to a gentle simmer over medium heat.

5. Add the gelatin: Slowly whisk in the gelatin powder to the simmering water until it’s completely dissolved.

6. Mix in the soap: Add the measured liquid soap or shower gel into the saucepan and stir thoroughly until well combined with the gelatin mixture.

7. Customize your soap jelly: At this point, you can add food coloring (a few drops should suffice) and essential oils or fragrance (a couple of drops will do) to personalize your creation.

8. Carefully pour the mixture: Remove the saucepan from the heat and carefully pour the mixture into your chosen mold(s).

9. Remove bubbles: Gently tap or shake the mold(s) to remove any bubbles that may have formed during pouring.

10. Refrigerate: Place your filled mold(s) into the refrigerator to cool and set for at least four hours or preferably overnight. Remember not to freeze it.

11. Unmold the soap jelly: Once set, carefully remove the soap jellies from the molds by gently pressing on their sides to release them.

12. Store and use: Store your soap jellies in a cool, dry place, and enjoy using them for an exciting and unique bathing experience!

With these simple steps, you’ll have fun and functional soap jellies to enjoy yourself or share with friends and family as a unique gift. Get creative and see what delightful combinations of colors and scents you can dream up!
