Looking for ways to customize your iPhone home screen with apps that matter to you the most? With so many apps available, it’s important to keep your favorites at the forefront for ease of access. In this article, we’ll explore three simple techniques for adding apps to your iPhone home screen.

1. Install a New App from the App Store

When you install a new app from the App Store, it will automatically be added to your home screen.

To do this, follow these steps:

a. Open the App Store on your iPhone.

b. Browse or search for the desired app.

c. Select the app and tap on “Get.”

d. Authenticate your Apple ID if prompted.

e. Wait for the app to download and install; it will then appear on your home screen.

2. Move Existing Apps from Other Screens

If you already have an app installed and want to add it to your home screen, simply move it.

Here’s how:

a. Locate the app on one of your other screens or in your App Library.

b. Tap and hold the app icon until a context menu appears; then select “Edit Home Screen” (or long press until all the icons start wiggling).

c. Drag the app icon from its current location to the desired position on your home screen.

d. Release the icon to place it there.

e. Tap “Done” in the top right corner or press the home button (or swipe up on newer iPhones) to exit edit mode.

3. Add Apps from Your App Library

Another easy way to add apps to your iPhone home screen is directly from your App Library:

a. Swipe left until you reach your last home screen and then swipe one more time to access the App Library.

b. Browse or search for the desired app.

c. Tap and hold the app icon until a context menu appears; then select “Add to Home Screen.”

d. The app will now be added to the first available space on your home screen.

Conclusion

Having quick access to your favorite and most-used apps can make a major difference in both productivity and convenience. With these three simple methods, you’ll have an organized home screen that showcases the apps you rely on daily. Customize your iPhone experience to suit your needs and preferences by adding apps to your home screen today!
