8 Ways to Prank Your Brother

Pranks are a timeless way to have some fun with the people around us. Siblings especially are often the targets of these playful antics. So, if you have a brother and are looking for ways to inject some humor into your relationship, here are eight hilarious pranks to play on him:

1. Fake Bug Surprise

Get your hands on a realistic-looking fake bug or spider and place it discreetly in a spot where your brother would least expect it, such as under his pillow or inside his backpack. This sudden encounter with an unwanted creepy crawler is sure to get an entertaining reaction from him!

2. Switcheroo

While your brother is out or sleeping, sneak into his room and rearrange his belongings, such as swapping clothing items in drawers or switching places of objects on shelves. The utter confusion upon discovering the inexplicable changes will undoubtedly lead to priceless moments.

3. Toothpaste-Filled Oreos

Carefully twist open an Oreo cookie and scrape out the white cream filling. Replace it with toothpaste, carefully press the cookie back together, and place it back in the package. Offer your unsuspecting brother the ‘treat,’ sit back, and watch his surprised face when he bites into the minty concoction.

4. Mystery Juice

Replace your brother’s favorite juice or soda with a mixture of other liquids, such as water mixed with food coloring or vinegar tinted with some flavoring extract. Be sure to seal the container well so that he doesn’t suspect anything until he takes that first bewildering sip.

5. Text Message Confusion

Borrow your brother’s phone for a moment and change the contact names of commonly-used contacts (like friends or parents) to other people in his contacts list. He’ll be puzzled about why he’s suddenly receiving messages from unexpected individuals!

6. Exploding Ketchup

Find an old ketchup bottle, clean it well, and then fill it with baking soda. Next time your brother goes to use it, ask to use it first. Squeeze out a little on your plate to make sure it works like regular ketchup. After shaking the bottle and handing it over to him, he’ll be shocked when a frothy explosion covers his plate.

7. Remote Control Madness

If you have a universal remote or a remote control app on your smartphone, this prank is perfect for you. Discreetly control the TV while your brother is watching his favorite show or playing a video game. Watch him grow increasingly confused and frustrated as channels change or the volume fluctuates without explanation.

8. Fake Lottery Ticket

Purchase a fake winning lottery scratch-off ticket and slip it into your brother’s wallet or somewhere he’s likely to find it. Pretend not to notice when he scratches off the winning numbers and basks in the false realization that he’s struck gold. Just make sure to reveal the truth before celebrations get too extravagant!

Remember that pranks should always be harmless and in good fun. Happy pranking!
