If you’re a college or university student, you know that staying within your budget is crucial for maintaining your financial stability. One area where students can save money is with entertainment, like music streaming services. And if you’re a fan of Spotify, you’re in luck! They offer a fantastic student discount that can help you save some cash. In this article, we’ll show you how to get a student discount on Spotify step by step.

Step 1: Check your eligibility

Before you start the process, make sure you’re eligible for the student discount. To qualify, you must meet these requirements:

– Be enrolled at an accredited higher education institution in a qualifying country.

– Have a valid student email address or documentation to prove your enrollment status.

Step 2: Go to the Spotify Premium Student page

Navigate to the Spotify Premium Student page (https://www.spotify.com/student) on your web browser.

Step 3: Click on “Get Started”

Find the “Get Started” button on the Premium Student page and click on it.

Step 4: Log in or sign up for Spotify

If you already have a Spotify account, log in with your credentials. If not, create a new account by providing your email address, click “Next” and follow the instructions provided.

Step 5: Verify your enrollment

Spotify partners with SheerID to verify your student enrollment status. Fill out the form with your details, such as name, college/university name, and date of birth. After submitting the form, wait for an email from SheerID confirming your eligibility.

If SheerID can’t automatically verify your enrollment, they might ask for additional documentation like an enrollment certificate or class schedule that displays your name, institution name and current term or course registration. Upload the needed documents and submit them for verification.

Step 6: Activate your Premium Student discount

Once your enrollment is verified, you’ll receive a confirmation email from Spotify with a link to activate your Premium Student subscription. Click the link in the email and confirm your subscription details – the discounted rate of $4.99/month (in the US) will apply.

Step 7: Enjoy your discounted Spotify Premium subscription

Congratulations! You now have a Spotify Premium Student subscription at a discounted rate. Enjoy ad-free music and offline listening while staying on budget.

Keep in mind that the student discount is valid for up to four years, but it needs to be renewed every year by verifying your enrollment status again.

By following these simple steps, you’ll have access to the Spotify Premium Student subscription at a great discount. Say goodbye to ads and hello to unlimited music streaming on a student budget!
