Step 1: Gather Participants

Find a group of friends who are interested in playing the Pocky game. This can be played between two individuals or as part of a larger group.

Step 2: Purchase Pocky

Ensure that you have enough Pocky snacks for the game. A variety of flavors, such as chocolate, strawberry, and matcha, can make it more exciting. Allocate at least one Pocky biscuit per participant.

Step 3: Choose a Comfortable Setting

Select a comfortable and relaxed environment where participants feel at ease. This could be indoors, like someone’s home or a cozy café, or outdoors, such as at a park or during a picnic.

Step 4: Initiate the Game

To start the game, explain the rules and procedures to all participants. The objective is simple: two players hold opposite ends of a Pocky stick with their mouths and try to eat towards each other without using their hands.

Step 5: Begin Playing

All participants must have at least one Pocky snack in their hand. They must find a partner and place one end of the stick into their mouth while their partner has the other end in theirs.

Step 6: Get Closer

Players need to move closer towards each other by nibbling on the Pocky stick and try to win by eating as much as possible without breaking it. Be prepared for this step to create laughter among participants – it’s all part of the fun!

Step 7: Declaring Winners

When there is very little left of the Pocky stick or when two participants’ lips are almost touching, they can choose to stop and break away or go for victory. The winner will be the one who swallowed the most significant part of the snack stick without breaking it.

Step 8: Rotate Partners and Repeat

Let the participants rotate between different partners and repeat the game from step 5. This allows for more interactions with the group and a chance for everyone to experience the fun of playing the Pocky game.

The Pocky Game offers a delightful activity for friends, creating a bonding experience and plenty of laughter. Enjoy this fun and light-hearted challenge in a comfortable setting, and make it a unique addition to your social gatherings!

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
