Cayenne pepper tea is a spicy and warming beverage that offers numerous health benefits. From boosting digestion to helping with pain relief, this simple drink can be a great addition to your wellness routine. Follow these 13 steps to prepare your perfect cup of cayenne pepper tea.

1. Gather your ingredients: To make cayenne pepper tea, you’ll need the following:

– 1/4 – 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper powder

– 1 cup of boiling water

– 1 teaspoon of honey (optional)

– Juice of 1/2 a lemon (optional)

2. Boil water: Fill a kettle or saucepan with one cup of water and bring it to a rolling boil.

3. Choose your desired heat level: Determine how much cayenne pepper you’d like to use, taking into account your spice tolerance. For mild heat, use 1/4 teaspoon; for medium heat, use 3/8 teaspoon; for maximum heat, use 1/2 teaspoon.

4. Prepare your cup: Add the desired amount of cayenne pepper powder to an empty mug or teacup.

5. Pour boiling water: Carefully pour the boiling water into the cup over the cayenne pepper powder.

6. Stir well: Use a spoon to mix the cayenne pepper powder with the water until well-blended.

7. Let steep: Allow the mixture to steep for five minutes in order to release its full flavor and potential health benefits.

8. Taste test: Test a sip of the tea before adding any additional ingredients to determine if you’d like a little more or less heat in your brew.

9. Add honey (optional): To help balance the spiciness and add some natural sweetness, you can mix in 1 teaspoon of honey.

10. Add lemon juice (optional): For additional flavor, squeeze in the juice from half of a lemon.

11. Stir again: Gently stir all the ingredients together.

12. Enjoy: Slowly sip your cayenne pepper tea, enjoying its unique and invigorating flavor.

13. Customize to your preference: Feel free to experiment with different amounts of cayenne pepper, honey, and lemon to find the perfect balance for your taste buds.

By following these 13 simple steps, you can enjoy a delicious and healthful cup of cayenne pepper tea whenever you like.
