Among Us is an online multiplayer game where players take on the role of crewmates or impostors aboard a spaceship. As a crewmate, players must complete tasks and try to identify the impostors amongst them, while impostors attempt to sabotage the ship and kill crewmates without getting caught. Along with playing the game’s objective, Among Us enables players to communicate with others during gameplay via quick chat. However, some may prefer to turn off quick chat, and in this article, we will discuss how to disable quick chat in Among Us.

Step 1: Open Among Us and head to the game settings

The first step in turning off quick chat in Among Us is to open the game and head to the settings menu. Once there, select the ‘Data’ tab.

Step 2: Deactivate the ‘Quick Justification’ feature

Under the ‘Data’ tab, select the ‘Game Options.’ Scroll down the list of options until you see the ‘Quick Justification’ feature. Deactivate this feature by moving the slider to the left.

Step 3: Save your changes

After disabling the ‘Quick Justification’ feature, save your changes by selecting the ‘back arrow’ to return to the previous screen. Next, select the ‘Settings’ tab and select the ‘Account’ tab. Here, select ‘Log Out’ to exit the game.

Step 4: Restart the game

After logging out, restart the game to apply the changes you have made. After the game has restarted, you will no longer have access to the quick chat feature.
