Introduction:

Alexa, the voice-controlled assistant by Amazon, is known for its many versatile features. But did you know that you can also play some engaging games with this smart speaker? Here are nine fun games that you can enjoy with your Alexa device, and a guide on how to play them.

1. Trivia Hero

A popular game that tests your knowledge on a wide range of topics, Trivia Hero offers endless hours of entertainment. To start playing, simply say, “Alexa, open Trivia Hero.” Alexa will ask you multiple-choice questions to which you need to answer by selecting the correct option.

2. Twenty Questions

Based on the classic guessing game, Twenty Questions gets Alexa to deduce the object or animal you’re thinking of within 20 questions. Begin by saying, “Alexa, open Twenty Questions,” and respond to her queries with simple “yes” or “no” answers.

3. Jeopardy!

As a fan-favorite game show, Jeopardy! is now available on Alexa as well! Just say, “Alexa, open Jeopardy!” and get ready to tackle trivia questions across six categories. Answer in the form of a question (e.g., “What is Paris?”) to score points.

4. Escape the Room

Hone your problem-solving skills with this virtual escape room game. Kick off by saying, “Alexa, open Escape the Room,” and listen to the scenario provided. Ask Alexa questions or give commands like “look at,” “pick up,” or “use” as clues are revealed for your escape.

5. Would You Rather

In this light-hearted icebreaker game, Alexa poses two options for you to choose between. Say, “Alexa, open Would You Rather,” to commence playing and then pick one alternative from those presented.

6. The Magic Door

Engage your imagination with this interactive adventure game. Start by saying, “Alexa, open The Magic Door,” and explore the enchanted world by asking questions and making choices to guide your journey.

7. Song Quiz

Perfect for music lovers, Song Quiz challenges you to identify song titles and artists based on short audio clips. To play, say, “Alexa, open Song Quiz,” and choose a decade for the music genre you prefer.

8. True or False

Test your ability to distinguish fact from fiction with this entertaining game. Begin by saying “Alexa, open True or False” and then respond to Alexa’s statements with either “true” or “false.”

9. The Tonight Show’s “Box of Lies”

Inspired by The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, Box of Lies engages Alexa in describing a mysterious object – which may or may not be true! You’ll guess if she’s lying or telling the truth. To start playing, say, “Alexa, open Box of Lies.”

Conclusion:

These are just a few exciting games that you can play with your Alexa device, showcasing the diversity of entertainment options it offers. Gather your friends and family for some interactive fun or enjoy them alone to unwind after a long day!
