When the Google Slides app is not working on your iPhone or Android, it can be frustrating, especially if you need immediate access to your presentations. Luckily, there are a few tried and tested fixes that can get the app back on track. Here are the 7 best solutions to resolve issues with the Google Slides app:

1. Check Internet Connection: Ensure that your device is connected to a stable internet connection. Google Slides requires an active connection to work seamlessly. If you’re using a cellular data network, try switching to WiFi, or vice versa.

2. Update the App: Running an outdated version of the app may cause compatibility issues. Check the App Store on iPhone or Google Play Store on Android for any available updates for Google Slides and install them.

3. Restart Your Device: Sometimes, a simple reboot can solve the problem. Hold down the power button to turn off your phone, then turn it back on after a few seconds.

4. Clear Cache and Data (Android): Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > See all apps > Google Slides > Storage & cache and tap on ‘Clear Cache’ and ‘Clear Storage’. Be aware that clearing storage will remove any temporary files and saved preferences.

5. Reinstall the App: Uninstalling and then reinstalling Google Slides can fix any underlying issues due to corrupt installation files. Remove the app from your device and download it again from the respective app store.

6. Disable Restrictive Settings: Make sure that any power-saving modes or data saver settings that restrict background data are disabled as they may affect app performance.

7. Check for iOS/Android Updates: Ensure your smartphone’s operating system is up to date with the latest version, which may include bug fixes that improve app functionality.

By following these troubleshooting steps, you should be able to resolve most issues with Google Slides not working on your iPhone or Android device.
