3 Ways to Save GIFs from Twitter

Introduction:

Twitter is a platform full of interesting GIFs that can make your day. But sometimes, you might encounter a GIF that’s so fascinating that you want to save it for later use or share it across other social media platforms. In this article, we will go through three different methods that can help you save your favorite gifs from Twitter with ease.

1. Using a Third-Party Downloader App:

One of the easiest ways to save GIFs from Twitter is by using third-party applications. These apps are specially designed to download media files from social platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. All you have to do is copy the tweet URL containing the GIF on your device and then paste it into the downloader app. Some popular and reliable options include TWSaver, Tweet2gif, and Gifitize.

Steps:

a) Open the tweet containing the GIF you want to save.

b) Tap on the “Share” button below the tweet and select “Copy link to Tweet.”

c) Launch your preferred downloader app and paste the tweet link.

d) The app will process the link and show you a preview. Finally, click on the “Save” or “Download” button.

2. Using a Website-based Downloader:

If you don’t want to install an extra app on your device, using a website downloader is another alternative. Websites like EZGIF.com and TWDown.net offer fast and easy downloading options without requiring an account or software installation.

Steps:

a) Copy the link to the Tweet containing the GIF as mentioned in method 1.

b) Visit a website-based downloader such as EZGIF.com or TWDown.net.

c) Paste the tweet URL in the appropriate input box on its main page.

d) Click on “Download” or “Convert” depending on the website’s button label.

e) The site will show you a preview. Right-click or tap-and-hold on the GIF to save it to your device.

3. Using a Browser Extension:

If you are an avid Twitter user and often want to download GIFs, installing a browser extension can simplify the process. Extensions like “Twitter Media Assist” for Google Chrome and “Download Twitter Media” for Firefox let you save GIFs directly from Twitter with just a couple of clicks.

Steps:

a) Install the browser extension compatible with your browser.

b) Open Twitter in your browser and locate the GIF that you want to save.

c) Once the extension is installed, you should notice an additional button or menu option for downloading media.

d) Click on this newly added button or hover over the GIF to display the download option.

e) Select “Save” or “Download” to start saving the GIF to your device.

Conclusion:

GIFs have become an integral part of our online conversations, and Twitter is full of exciting and amusing options. By using any of these three methods, you can easily save your favorite GIFs from Twitter and share them with your friends on other platforms or save them for personal use. Happy downloading!
