Reindeer are a beloved symbol of the holiday season, and pipe cleaner reindeer crafts are both festive and fun. This article will teach you three ways to make a reindeer using pipe cleaners. With a few simple materials, some creativity, and these easy-to-follow steps, you can create your very own pipe cleaner reindeer to brighten up your home during the holidays.

1. Simple Pipe Cleaner Reindeer

Materials:

– 2 brown pipe cleaners

– 1 red or black pipe cleaner

– 1 white pipe cleaner

– Small googly eyes

– Glue

Instructions:

1. Fold one brown pipe cleaner in half to form the body of the reindeer. Twist the ends together to create a loop.

2. Cut two small pieces from the other brown pipe cleaner for the front legs and twist them onto the body loop.

3. For the hind legs, use the remaining brown pipe cleaner section and bend it in half to create a “V” shape. Attach this to the back of the body loop.

4. Cut a small piece of red or black pipe cleaner for the nose and twist it into a little ball.

5. Use the white pipe cleaner to cut two sections for antlers. Twist them into “Y” shapes, then attach them to the top of the body loop.

6. Finally, glue on small googly eyes and your simple pipe cleaner reindeer is complete!

2. Candy Cane Pipe Cleaner Reindeer

Materials:

– 1 candy cane

– 2 brown pipe cleaners

– 2 small googly eyes

– 1 red pom-pom or red pipe cleaner ball (for the nose)

– Glue

Instructions:

1. Wrap one brown pipe cleaner around the curved top of the candy cane, leaving enough space above to form antlers.

2. Fold each end of the pipe cleaner upwards to create the “Y” shaped antlers.

3. Take the second brown pipe cleaner and wrap it around the candy cane right beneath the curved top, twisting it together at the front to form the reindeer’s head and neck.

4. Glue on small googly eyes and either a red pom-pom or a red pipe cleaner ball for the nose to complete your candy cane pipe cleaner reindeer.

5. Pipe Cleaner Reindeer Ornament

Materials:

– 2 brown pipe cleaners

– 1 red pipe cleaner

– 1 white pipe cleaner

– Small googly eyes

– Glue

– Ribbon or string (for hanging)

Instructions:

1. Fold one brown pipe cleaner in half to form the body of the reindeer. Twist the ends together to create a loop, leaving a small space at the top for hanging.

2. Attach legs and antlers just like the simple pipe cleaner reindeer detailed in method 1.

3. Use a red pipe cleaner section to create a round nose and attach it to the face.

4. Glue on small googly eyes.

5. Thread a ribbon or string through the loop at the top of your ornament and secure with a knot. Hang your delightful pipe cleaner reindeer ornament on your tree or around your home!

With these three ways to make a pipe cleaner reindeer, you can add some festive charm to your home during the holiday season. They also make great gifts or holiday activities for kids!
