Introduction

Canon’s TS3150 series of printers are easy-to-use, budget-friendly inkjet printers perfect for everyday use. One key feature that makes these printers so popular is their wireless connectivity, which allows you to print without using any cables. In this article, we will guide you through three different methods to connect your Canon TS3150 printer to Wi-Fi.

Method 1: Using the Router’s WPS Button

The easiest way to connect your Canon TS3150 printer to Wi-Fi is by using the WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) button on your router. Follow these steps:

1. Turn on your printer and make sure it’s in a ready-to-use state.

2. Press and hold the “Direct” button on your printer until the icon appears on the screen.

3. Check that your router has a WPS button and press it within two minutes of pressing the “Direct” button on your printer.

4. Your printer will automatically connect to the Wi-Fi network within 2-3 minutes.

Note: If you don’t have a WPS button on your router, move on to method 2 or 3.

Method 2: Connecting via Smartphone or Tablet

You can connect your Canon TS3150 printer to Wi-Fi using a smartphone or tablet with the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app.

1. Download the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

2. Turn on your printer and make sure it’s in a ready-to-use state.

3. Open the app on your device; a list of available printers will appear.

4. Select your Canon TS3150 printer from the list.

5. Enter your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password when prompted.

6. Your printer will now be connected and ready to use.

Method 3: Manual Connection Using Your Computer

If you prefer to connect your Canon TS3150 printer to Wi-Fi manually using your computer, follow these steps:

1. Turn on your printer and make sure it’s in a ready-to-use state.

2. Insert the installation CD that comes with your printer into your computer’s CD drive and run the setup program.

3. Select “Wi-Fi Connection” as the connection method and then click “Next.”

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process, which involves entering your Wi-Fi network name (SSID), password, and security protocol (WPA, WPA2, etc.).

5. Your printer will now be connected and ready to use.

Conclusion

Connecting your Canon TS3150 printer to Wi-Fi can streamline your printing experience, making it more convenient, wireless, and accessible. Choose any of these three methods that best suit your needs, and enjoy a clutter-free workspace with the Canon TS3150 series printer.
