3 Ways to Ask Someone for a Job

Networking events and conferences are great platforms to connect with influential people in your field and build genuine relationships with them. To make the most of these events, follow these steps:

– Research about the event’s attendees beforehand to identify potential job providers and customize your approach.

– Prepare an engaging elevator pitch that highlights your skills, experience, and goals.

– Approach the person confidently and use open body language. Begin the conversation by discussing common interests or recent learnings from the conference.
