Samsung Galaxy S10e Review

The Samsung Galaxy S10e is a smaller and more affordable version of the Samsung Galaxy S10 flagship. It was released in February 2019 and is part of the tenth iteration of the Samsung Galaxy S series. The “e” in the name stands for “essential,” meaning the phone offers all the essential features of the Galaxy S10 while being more affordable and compact. In this review, we’ll take a closer look at the Samsung Galaxy S10e.

Design

The Samsung Galaxy S10e has a stunning design that looks and feels premium. It features a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels. The screen is vibrant, bright, and has excellent viewing angles. The front camera is located in a punch-hole cutout at the top right corner of the screen, which some users may find distracting.

At the back of the phone, there are two cameras and a fingerprint scanner. The phone is available in five different color options: Prism Black, Prism White, Prism Blue, Flamingo Pink, and Canary Yellow.

Performance

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy S10e is powered by the same processor as the Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus – the Exynos 9820 or Snapdragon 855 depending on the region. The phone comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD card.

The performance of the Samsung Galaxy S10e is excellent, with fast and snappy performance in all areas. Apps open quickly, and multitasking is smooth. Gaming on the device is also a great experience, with high-end games running smoothly without any lags or stutters.

Camera

The Samsung Galaxy S10e has two cameras at the back – a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/1.5-f/2.4 and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2. At the front, there is a single 10-megapixel camera with an aperture of f/1.9.

The camera performance of the Samsung Galaxy S10e is impressive, with sharp and detailed photos both in good lighting and low light conditions. The ultra-wide-angle lens is especially useful for capturing wider landscapes and group shots. The front camera also takes great selfies.

Battery Life

The Samsung Galaxy S10e comes with a 3,100mAh battery, which may not sound impressive on paper but is actually quite decent in real-world usage. The battery can last through a full day of normal usage without needing a charge. The phone also supports fast charging and wireless charging, which are great features to have.

Conclusion

The Samsung Galaxy S10e is an excellent phone that offers flagship-level performance and features at a more affordable price. It has a stunning design, great performance, impressive cameras, and decent battery life. The only potential downside is the smaller screen size, but that may be a plus for those who prefer a more compact phone. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S10e is a great option for anyone looking for a high-end phone without breaking the bank.
