Product Review of Wowzers

This is an adaptive math workshop designed to help kids in kindergarten through eighth grade learn, practice, and apply new knowledge. Assessments are done after each lesson to determine whether a learner needs to revise any part of the lesson, skip lessons, or continue at the set pace. Assessments are organized to PARCC and Smarter Balanced standards. Kids can create avatars to explore the world, and they earn coins for progress.

What Users Love About the App
“I absolutely love this app! My math teacher uses it for the fun of learning and it’s really helpful for me because I learn quicker when school is made into a game. So, thank you wowzers!”
“Wowzers is the best math app on the app store. This is not just a game that lightly touches on math concepts. There is a deep curriculum that teaches students concepts, and not just an algorithm to solve problems without understanding why they’re doing.”
“It’s adaptive, so it helps each student learn at their own pace. And the content is delivered through engaging games and virtual quests. I’ve tried out all of the top math apps on the App Store, and Wowzers is by far the best.”
“The new update is Awesome, there are so many cool items for my character but I give it a four star because I think we should have more time in the mall.”
“Ever since are teacher got us on this, we all just like to have fun with it playing mini games and looking at each other’s avatars!”
What Users Dislike About the App
“I think that you need to make the loading faster, and need improvement in the art. This app needs to have something different and fun every day because this is getting boring the same exact routine of the wowzers day, even my classmates are complaining about this.”
“I had this app and apparently you are supposed to get an account on the app, then either pay monthly or get the 30-day trial. I don’t think this game is worth getting an account for or paying for.”
“Bad game for summer math I would go into detail but I would probably end up writing a 6 paragraph summary on why schools should not give their students this game for the summer and if you don’t believe it is bad then try it out yourself.”
“This app would’ve been great if it hadn’t crashed so many times, been able to actually work, and not freeze all the time. Me and my classmates have been experiencing the same thing, where wowzers would just freeze and not let us do anything. Please, fix this bug.”
“This app sucks, the audio is terrible as well. It made me delete some of my apps.”
