“The ability to upload/download student information directly to the Versatrans server and get out student scheduled to their bus transportation. Setting up the boundaries of the district as to assist in identifying non-resident students.”
“I like this software a lot more because it provides more routing quality, it allows to specify where the students will be picked up, at a specific point if necessary, it helps to improve the productivity of the schools, allowing each of the vehicles to be located by means of GPS.”

“Some of our boundaries are varied along roadways and that is tricky sometimes in setting the district eligibility limits of bus ridership. Some of the trouble shooting involved in why a student that is eligible is not getting routed. Sometimes it’s on our end, other times it’s Versatrans.”
“Some of the icons used are difficult to discern what they do, where to look for, running similar reports/viewing data. Takes more time to learn where to go to do specific bus data and exports.”
“Sometimes areas arise in our region that usually do not appear in our routes, to be able to implement them to the GPS system, that is something that displeases since it does not let us know which route needs modifications or if some student could not be picked up at his assigned time”
“The software can be a little clunky. A district like ours has a lot of outlying regions that are not connected, so to get those imported it can be bit of a chore. Updates to roadways and zones are sometimes a bit difficult to import and get correct and re-mapping students are tedious.”
“There is no undo for many things one does. I feel there should always be an undo.”
