Product Review of Trainyard

Trainyard is a puzzle-solving game that is easy to learn but becomes increasingly complex as the user advances through the tasks. The goal of the game is to get each colored train from the station to its designated goal station by drawing a track where needed. The first few puzzles are easy and give kids good practice time before taking on the more difficult puzzles.

What Users Love About the App
“What a great puzzle game, and now an update that makes the app universal! What a great developer!”
“Wish all the trains in Calgary ran so smoothly. New update is awesome, best puzzle game on iPhone by far!”
“I love everything about this game: the automatic switching., the painting squares, the snippers, combining primary colours, splitting secondary colours into their component colours – all of it.”
“I think it was 2 or 3 years ago since I completed the game the first time. I have been patiently waiting so it would be new again. And I am enjoying it as much as ever.”
“Excellent, intuitive, yet challenging game. Great graphics for a one screen puzzler. Highly-recommend!”
What Users Dislike About the App
“You can only play so many levels and it won’t let you advance to the next level until you finish all the puzzles in a level. It would be nice if it had helps or hints but it doesn’t. It would be nice if it let you advance.”
“There are tutorials as you go along where the game explains how to do the new things but the tutorials are a very simplified version of the new challenges making it seem like you can do it. Then you get to the puzzle and wow, it’s so much more complicated than the tutorial hinted at.”
