Product Review of The Robot Factory by Tinybop

The Robot Factory game gives kids the freedom to create, from their in-game name to the perfect robot. Players can record their voice, which is tuned to a higher pitch and edited with a robotic tone. They deploy their robots in the game world and see their performance. Some robots do better in certain situations than others, so players can change parts at any time to fit the task at hand.

What Users Love About the App
“Even though I am an adult- way above the age range of this game- this game is actually quite fun and inspiring! I love robots, and this game really floats my boat. I also like that this game has no violence.”
“The perfect game to challenge creative minds when I got this game i was addicted to it until I had to go to school this is so fun, I could build robots forever.”
“My 5-year-old really enjoys this app and figuring out how things work. I love that it doesn’t have a bot battle option.”
“My kid has been playing Robot Factory literally for years now. It’s his favorite. He’s packed our iPad with saved robots.”
“I have played this game for only a day and have made over twenty robots, it’s great! This is the best game by far. Please make more creating games, love to see them, please add more you can do with the robots.”
What Users Dislike About the App
“Unfortunately the app has stopped working now, independent of any updates to it or iOS, and the only solution I can figure is to delete my kid’s precious robot data, which is completely off the table.”
“Operating anything is really delayed like saving and going outside(?) and especially when using tools. Also it would be nice to view and edit different sides while building. Please continue to improve and update.”
“I’ve only had one annoying problem, the arms on the robot may flip upside down when you attach them to the robot. So I was wondering if you could add a feature were you’re able to choose which way the arms turn instead of them turning upside down when you attach them to the robot.”
“The only thing that could make it better would be a “free-roam” mode where your robots are also able to roam free and interact with you and each other.”
“It could use some more scenery options to move bots around in. Some reviewers want a bot battle option, but I love that it doesn’t have one. Please keep it that way!”
