Product Review of Teach Boost

Teach Boost is a platform for educators and administrators to assist in providing feedback and educator evaluations. It is designed to foster effective educators and improve learner outcomes. There are three segments in the Teach Boost program: Observations and Evaluations, Coaching and Mentorship, and Professional Development. Observations and Evaluations allow administrators to customize forms, rubrics, and observation cycles and streamline the overall evaluation process to fit the needs of the school. Coaching and Mentorship help develop sustainable coaching and mentoring programs through customized coaching engagements. It helps eliminate paperwork and simplifies scheduling. The Professional Development segment is a hub for schools to manage, document, and share professional development resources.

What Users Love About the App
“I appreciate the accessibility of help when I need it combined with quick solutions that are easy for me to implement. Another component of TeachBoost which is very important to me is the flexibility of use, personalized components and easy to navigate dashboard.”
“I don’t feel like I am exaggerating when I say using this product has been transformative. Oftentimes, the sales pitch doesn’t live up to the product. In this case, it exceeds it. There are constantly improvements based on customer feedback which I also appreciate.”
“Customization that TeachBoost has created for our specific needs has been the biggest plus for us. Compiling data in an organized fashion and ease of use.”
“Their flexibility and customization. Their support team is amazing, I’ve never seen anything like it!”
“TeachBoost is a truly great answer to a common problem – administrating teacher growth across observations and goal-setting. I’ve truly appreciated what I’ve seen so far.”
What Users Dislike About the App
“Requires support team to get the system off the ground. No bulk upload of staff feature. Resources to fix problems on your own are not there. Some of the terminologies around use can be confusing.”
“TeachBoost has different levels of users, where some users have higher authority to make changes than others. I am a mid-range level 3 user, and have some but not all capabilities within the system. If I need something corrected or withdrawn, I find myself having to reach out to a person with a higher level of access than myself, which is time consuming.”
“I find it difficult to switch the Teacher-Student interaction button in the middle of scripting a lesson plan of one of my teachers, so I end up typing T- and S- rather than use the feature.”
“Although TeachBoost is simple enough to navigate, it did take a little bit of walking through to “get it.” I also wish that the interface was a bit more aesthetically appealing.”
“It can become just one more thing for teachers to do. I recommend replacing existing systems instead of just adding more.”
