Product Review of Simple Rockets

Using Kepler’s equations to model orbital physics and astrodynamics, this extremely realistic game allows the user to explore the solar system from a variety of perspectives. This app includes options to build rocket ships, launch from the surface of any planet—from Venus’ intense atmosphere to Mercury’s low gravity, and built-in challenges that allow players to compete to go the fastest or land on the moon. Simple Rockets can be used in the classroom as a supplement to a standard physics curriculum or simply enjoyed at home as an assignment extension.

What Users Love About the App
“Simple Rockets is a great game. It makes rocketry, a very complex subject, through use of intuitive controls and helpful tutorials, simple enough for anyone to understand and enjoy. Alongside a sandbox of the whole Solar System, there are also many, many different challenges of varying difficulty so you will never be bored with the game.”
“It’s just a great game to sit down and play! you can have fun doing the simple stuff or really complex missions. For a mobile game its hands down the best space game that you can get!”
“This is the perfect game for the adult engineer. Build a cool multi stage rocket and fly? Can you get much better then that!?! The replay value is endless. This game riggidy rules!”
“It is the best game I ever played. It takes a while before you get everything but then it is awesome. I rank it up there with or past Minecraft and Clash of Clans (for me that means a lot).”
“This game is amazing. My son loves space. He begged me to get him the game, and I’m glad I did. He plays it all day and he loves to come sit on my lap we build rockets together. We’ve not had many successes.”
What Users Dislike About the App
“The biggest flaw with this game is that parts will not connect in more than one place, no matter what. This essentially makes building large rockets impossible because they will be unstable.”
“How many YEARS have I waited for the simple ability to connect something in more than one place when adding a new part. It is not difficult, and often ruins the game when it can’t be done. Ridiculous.”
“I couldn’t get a refund and it’s hard to control is stupid. Way you’re going and I would be better off be playing Minecraft right now if I would have gotten the refund.”
“Hate it got it after playing simple planes and expected greatness but what I got was a poorly designed money grab. I can’t even get a refund.”
“When the signal is bad, the game just freezes on start. Also, even though I bought simple planes, simple. Rockets keeps pestering me to buy them. Kinda makes me not play this great game.”
