Product Review of Scratch

Scratch is a free open network made available by MIT to assist young folks in learning to think and reason systematically. Scratch makes room for learners to design and share their coding work with others around the universe. It allows them to create stories, games, and animations to assist in sharing their vision with others on the platform. On this platform, you can program your own interactive stories, games, and animations and share your design with others in the online community.

What Users Love About the App
“When I was a teenager, I used to love playing scratch and making games all the time, and now again thankfully I am surprised this does not need coding! and keep up the good work!”
“I was on Scratch for 4 years and I had so many precious memories made there! The vast majority of the community is absolutely lovely and supportive, it’s fun for children to code and make friends at the same time.’
“This is a great app for kids like me! I learned how to make games, animation, and more! I recommend this app for kids, it’s kinda easy to use but you know nothing is easy u need to try.”
“As a game dev with 2 years experience, it’s pretty much what you’ll need to get started with game development. You can even export scratch files into exe with third-party apps to make better and more “professional” games!”
“Very educational. There are tutorials that I have used. It is very interesting. I would recommend it. It is perfect for school or just for home. You can make your own stories. You can animate things. You can even make them dance.”
What Users Dislike About the App
“The reporting system is very bad, like Deviantart, if a post receives a certain number of reports, it will be deleted. It’s filled with little toxic kids who are rude for no reason if someone tries to say anything bad about Scratch.”
“Working with this app is very difficult. In other words, it’s impossible. Because the PC version has become a mobile version without any changes. This Problem has made the application icons very small.”
“Well I didn’t even get to start nor finish the first project because the little render window didn’t work, as in it didn’t render anything the whole time and finally when it did it was like blinking super fast.”
“Absolutely terrible. I love the computer website with all my heart, but this app is terrible. It would be better to just go there from google on mobile than download this. They didn’t change anything. All the buttons are super small and I can’t press anything.”
“So I’ve used the website on my school Chromebook before, and it was perfectly fine, but this app is bad. I can’t scroll, I can’t log in, and you can’t even see other people’s projects or even the home page!”
