What Users Love About the App
“The player is full of features, the analytics are robust and easy to use, but my favorite aspect of the tool is the team behind it and their commitment to continuously push out new features. They are open to feedback and always willing to help implement their solution.”
“It’s so simple to use. Students can create their own videos so it’s not just for consumption. It allows engagement on demand & checks learning in real-time.”
“Playposit is an easy-to-use interactive video tool. The math equation editor and the audio tool put this interactive video site at the top of my list. It is easy to add videos and add questions. Students are more engaged when they are held accountable for their learning.”
“I like that PlayPosit lets you utilize (most) YouTube videos and that it allows you to write your own questions that pop up when students are watching the video. It adds a level of interactiveness that a worksheet on the side does not (actually physically pausing the video at just the right moment for reflection).”
“I think this is a creative and unique idea! I love that students can access information visually, especially if they are struggling readers; this product levels the playing field for learners. Students are able to rewind the videos for any information that was missed in order to answer the questions; this holds students accountable!”
What Users Dislike About the App
“The website UI is a bit clunky when it comes to setting up classes etc.”
“The ‘monitoring’ or grading of the video is a little clunky, especially if you wanted to use it with a large class. Also, some videos won’t upload and students experience the occasional glitch.”
“It would be nice if you could put pictures as answer choices. I would also like the answer choices to have an easy option for kids to click and have them read. Since this tests comprehension, I don’t want them slowed down with the decoding factor.”
“Add video recording feature/interactive? As in if a student gets answer wrong, will respond with rein structure and second chance Integrate with the school grading program.”
“Finding the videos could be easier have to check with the ease of pushing it out. Translate the videos into multiple languages or include closed captions will be appreciated.”
